Oh, the Holiday Season. We’ve gotta love this time of year. We get to justify eating just about any type of food that makes us feel full, at home and just plain happy. Yes! I get it, If the Holiday Season isn’t the time to indulge, then, when do we get to? I know, I know… However, were too busy thinking about how good and comforting all the less than healthy foods we are eating are, that we actually pay little to no attention to the reality that although grandmas casseroles and that third slice of pie you just grabbed may be pleasing for those few minutes, the reality of it all is that you do have the choice to eat smarter on the days that you’re not around those hard to ignore comfort foods.
