Sharing with you a few of our best bites from the beautiful City of Austin.
For Breakfast we stopped by The Omelettry and enjoyed a delicious stack of freshly made pancakes and fresh farm scrambled eggs. It was all completely worth the one hour wait. By the way, it was around Noon by the time that we got our breakfast and people around us were still ordering breakfast well past noon. Goes to show you just how great this place is. Really, if you’re a breakfast lover and you happen to be in Austin, this is the place to be.

During our Austin trip we were lucky enough to stay at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. They had an amazing dining ares on the first floor an even more gorgeous outdoor patio area stocked with the cutest seating area and fire pit. ( Gabe and I roasted Marshmallows later that night. It was so much fun! ) We had our lunch here finally on our second day in Austin. Dear Lordy, can i please have a second helping of that delicious Frito Pie! Everything was cooked amazing and the environment of The Knotty Deck restaurant was even better. It was truly an amazing experience.

And last but not least we have the much anticipated Moonshine Grill. This was actually where we planned to have lunch upon arriving in Austin, but the wait was at 2hr and 45mins. when we arrived. We stopped by before coming back to Houston on a Tuesday and thank goodness that we did because there was no wait and our food all arrived to us in less than 20 mins. It was great! Let’s talk about the delicious meat loaf i had! ( it was full of flavor and full of the best meat quality. Grass fed beef all the way! )
