Loved creating these illustrations referenced from a couple of Kate Spade New York Ads. I am always inspired by the creativity behind the Kate Spade Ads and immediately want to draw every beautiful thing that I see. I've noticed that Illustrating from reference has helped me immensely to continue to develop my drawing/painting style. Lately, I have rekindled my love of saving pages from old and new magazines to use as reference for future Illustrations. Have you tried using fun fashion ads to use as reference for your paintings? If not, please consider. It's a great way to get yourself painting/drawing without overwhelming yourself about thinking of original ideas.
